Welcome friend!
Thanks for visiting our blog. This is where we compile all of our articles to share with our readers, customers, and colleagues in the health professions.
I’m Alicia; I own and manage this site. I’ve been in the social services and health arena for over 20 years now, and my goal is to use my work as a means to build healthier families and communities.
One of the top resources I share with others who are ready to build healthier habits quickly is the Family Wellness Challenge. Opening up this challenge for free is my way of welcoming you to our community.

I know from my own personal experience as a woman, mom, and professional that many of us just want to raise a healthy, happy family.
But as we try to do this, we sometimes have a tendency to make it more complicated than it needs to be. The result? Overthinking and overwhelm.
I am here to offer you a new approach to having a healthy, happy family and work life that allows you to live smart and simple.
My personal and professional passion is to help women to thrive in their role as mom, employee (or entrepreneur), and wife.
My Bachelor’s Degree is in Psychology, and I also earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. In other terms, I’m a mental health clinician.
If that’s not enough, I have training and certification as a Health Coach, and I’m an approved Lifestyle Coach for the CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program.
I have no shortage of interests when it comes to health and wellness.
I have spent much of my career working with people experiencing many challenges – whether it’s coping with a medical or mental health condition, adjusting to changes in their psychosocial status, or dealing with work or family-related stress.
I am a believer that there is not usually one single cause of imbalance. And I am an advocate of looking at the “whole” picture and suggesting changes that can positively impact you and ripple out to the whole family.
My goal in the work that I do and the programs I create is to take a holistic approach, helping you to develop skills to keep yourself and the whole family well: physically, socially, emotionally, and environmentally.
Whole Family Living will help you by providing the essentials for living a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.
